More than 70 people participated in a training course on rules of origin in the EVFTA
On July 15, 2020 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS) in collaboration with Agency of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam organized a training course on Rules of Origin in EVFTA in order to support Vietnamese textile and garment enterprises to fully grasp the rules of origin with more preparation in the context of the EVFTA comes into effect. More than 70 participants from the southern textile & garment enterprises participated in the training course.
Vina Gio Company opened a Bag Story shop in Ho Chi Minh City
On July 18, 2020, Vina Gio Co., Ltd opened the Bag Story shop at 245A Tran Quang Khai Street,Tan Dinh Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. Representatives of Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS), textile and garment enterprises and numerous customers attended the opening ceremony.

From 14-16 July, 2020, the Government Office Delegation met with a number of businesses in the Mekong Delta to discuss the problems of procedures related to production and operation of these businesses, especially in terms of the impacts of the Covid 19 pandemic, and recommendations and proposals of the businesses were also raised at the meeting.
