Since its establishment, despite many difficulties and challenges, Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS) has brought into full play its role as a connection - support - fulcrum for businesses and entrepreneurs with the Government, ministries, localities, and international partners in the stage of developing the domestic market and integrating into the global market. In the impressive 25-year journey, VITAS has always understood, shared, and accompanied to minimize risks, seize opportunities, enhance benefits, orient development, enhance position, and create a solid foundation for the Vietnamese textile and garment industry. Particularly, in the context of many changes, the adaptability, creative thinking, and resilience of VITAS leaders and staff, along with the dynamism, consensus, and perseverance of enterprises and entrepreneurs in the textile and garment industry, are the keys to overcoming the stormy events and the foundation for VITAS to continue its performance in the upcoming journey. The export activities of Vietnam’s textile and garment continue to improve, as evidenced by the increasingly expanding growth rate compared to the early months of the year. Key export markets such as the US, EU, Japan, and China continue to maintain growth; markets like ASEAN, Russia, and Canada are emerging as potential bright spots for businesses to boost production and export of textiles and garments. Additionally, the continued downward trend in freight rates is also supporting the growth of textile and garment exports.
