In addition to onsite product demonstrations, a video conference will be held at the same time to bring together online and offline activities to achieve a multiplier effect. Six Taiwanese textile companies will participate in the exhibition. The products on display include fashion-oriented and functional, recycled, and sustainable fabrics, with a wide range of styles and products suitable for various outdoor activities, sports, yoga, and various lifestyles.
Taiwan’s textile industry continues to innovate in sustainable functional textiles, recycling PET bottles to make textiles, and recycling oyster shells to make textiles based on a circular economy concept. In addition, anti-bacterial and anti-viral fabrics and yarns have been developed to suit the new post-pandemic lifestyle. Interested garment manufacturers or brand owners are welcome to register for the online video conference, or visit the onsite exhibits to select products and hold face-to-face discussions.

Taiwan Textile fits new lifestyle trend
Under the pressure of modern living, the mixing of work, sports, and leisure has become the new lifestyle trend, which has given rise to the “Athleisure” sports and leisure apparel style. Athleisure combines sports functionality with casual comfort through chic designs that can be worn on all occasions for the trendiest looks. Materials suitable for Athleisure wear have been developed as a result, such as fabrics with odor-control, antibacterial, UV-resistant, splash-proof, and moisture-wicking functions, as well as other accessories, such as reflective sticker strips and jacquard labels.
