Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) is among top priorities of textile and garment enterprises and key components for business operation. Healthy and safety working environment and working conditions will ensure workers’ health, motivate workers for their innovations at work and strengthen the bonding with the enterprises. At the same time, improved OSH at work also brings about benefits for the enterprises in terms of cost saving, improved productivity, enhanced credibility and competitiveness of the enterprises.
Given the current complex situation of COVID-19 pandemic and its impacts to the socio-economy as well as manufacture production, the need to strengthen OSH integrating COVID-19 preventive measures in the workplace even have higher stake.
