2016 Shareholders' Meeting of VTEC: On 2rd3 April 2016, at Viet Tien Garment JST Corporation has organized the Annual Meeting of Shareholders 2016 to report the results of business activities in 2015 and set out the strategic solutions for 2016. In 2015, the revenue reached 6.311 billion vnđ, up by 11% compared to the plan, an increase of 17% over the same period. Profit before tax reached 302 billion vnđ, up by 4% compared to the plan, an increase of 8% over the same period. Income per worker increased by 17% over the same period. VINATEX Nam Dinh Yarn Factory to get first batch of products in the morning of
29th April 2016, VINATEX Nam Dinh Yarn Factory has released the first batch of products. This is particularly important event of Plant Fiber VINATEX Nam Dinh, Vietnam Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex) in particular and Vietnam's textile and garment industry in general contribution to improve the supply chain ahead of the trade agreements was signed. Vinatex fiber production plant in Nam Dinh was constructed by VINATEX with scale of 2-3 thousand spindles and production of 4770-5200 tons / year (Ne30), with total investment of 300-465 billion vnđ. VINATEX Nam Dinh Yarn Factory invested with advanced production lines and the most modern in the world nowaday to produce one kind of products to serve the textile industry.
Second Congress of Cotton Yarn Vietnam Association: On 22nd April 2016 in Hanoi, the congress took place the Second Congress of the Association Activity Vietnam Cotton Yarn term 2016 - 2020. 2016 Capital Representative Conference of Vietnam Textile and Garment Group
was held on 12nd April 2016 in Hanoi and 23rd April 2016 HCM city. Results of the implementation of the Group in 2015 are as follow: production value (actual) reached 36,000 billion vnđ, exceeding 1% of the general plan, exceeding 12% compared to 2014.

Launch of Corporation Southern Textiles: In order to accelerate the implementation of investment strategy for the new period, 23rd April 2016 in HCMC, Vietnam Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex) has celebrated the launch of the Southern Textile Corporation. Southern Textiles Corporation based in 10 Nguyen Hue Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, HCMC. With chartered capital of 520 billion vnđ, Southern Corporation are established on the basis of the consolidated companies and five investment projects of the Group's branches in southern are VINATEX factory of Yarn-dyed fabrics; VINATEX Kien Giang Garment Factory; Phu Cuong Fiber Factory; Can Tho Garment Factory; Bac Lieu Garment Factory.

Textile enterprises to invest in expanding the keypoint factories: Focusing on human resources, incrementing capital investment for expanding production and taking advantage
of export markets is the strategy of many large textile enterprises in May 2016. Dong Nai JSC – Donagamex is investing to expand the scale for some keypoint plants. Donagamex plans to focus investment on Industrial Cluster (CCN) Hung Loc which specializes in textiles with an area of over 40 hectares. There is also another 3 more projects eligible for investment expansion, including: project of expansion lands and factories for Dinh Quan Garment JSC, investment for development to expand production in Dong Binh JSC and Dong Phuoc JSC, in order to make the most advantage of the infrastructuree and resources in place. Century Synthetic Fiber Corporation also announced the investment spending "spree" in 2016 to Trang Bang Project 4 in order to increase capacity. As expectation, the devices for Trang Bang Factory 4 will be installed from the second quarter of 2016 and will be operated in the first quarter of 2017. This is expected to increase the capacity of 8,000 tons and bringing the total capacity of company to 60,000 tons / year. Thuan Phuong Embroidery Garment Co. Ltd at Long Cang Commune, Can Duoc District, Long An Province are investing on weaving, dyeing, sewing factories for an area of 30 hectares which has been started up the construction with the capital for the first phase up to 600 billion vnđ. Phase I of the plant consists of 2 garment factories, 1 washing and 1 depot workshop, specializing in the manufacture and export of garments, embroidery, print, wash under a closed technological process, meet the export standards.
Hanosimex commissioned two major projects in 2016: Within 2015, Hanoi Textile JSC (Hanosimex) spent approximately 500 billion vnđ for new investment projects, more than 90% of the total expenditure for the project is cornered fiber production. One of the major projects are in the construction phase and other project which is scheduled for completion by the end of this year is to build fiber factory in Dong Van 1 with 30,000 spindles scale, the design capacity of 5,500 tons of yarn TCM type / year. And project in Nam Dan, scale 28 production lines, the design capacity 5.4 million units / year with total investment of 80.2 billion vnđ will be fully commissioned in the second quarter of 2016. In particular, the plant went into production since the beginning of April 2016 but the cafeterias and the remaining part of the infrastructure will finish in May 6th 2016. In 2016, revenue targets of Hanosimex are 1.025 billion vnđ, pre-tax profit 32 billion vnđ, dividend by 12%.
