Dear Valued Members and Partners,
Since the year 2017, the Environment Committee of Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS) was set up, and a working group of the Committee have worked actively to guide Vietnamese textile & garment enterprises on technological solutions, environmental management, saving energy costs in production and business, building a textile and garment brand, bringing deep and sustainable benefits. After two years of working, in the year 2019, the Committee was changed to VITAS Sustainability Committee (VSC) with wider range of activities with more attention to labor issues.
In 2020, VITAS become an official member of the Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC).VITAS has contributed both data and resources to support the Higg Index, which measures sustainability performance and drives supply chain transparency and decision- making to improve efficiency and sustainability impact to Vietnam sustainable development in textile and garment sector.

· Discuss opportunities, challenges and sharing lessons learned of multi-stakeholder partners
· Introduction workshop on “ZDHC- Waste management Practical guide in textile business” with practical guidance from Bureau Veritas experts
