Covid Joint-Industry Statement April 2020
On April 21, VITAS signed the Joint Statement with more than 60 national associations and organizations around the world representing the global textile, footwear, tourism and fashion industries to appeal to governments, stakeholders and supply chain partners, taking responsible action to deal with Covid-19. This Joint Statement is on a larger scale than the STAR Statement.

What's CE marking
Many products require CE marking before they can be sold in the EU. CE marking indicates that a product has been assessed by the manufacturer and deemed to meet EU safety, health and environmental protection requirements. It is required for products manufactured anywhere in the world that are then marketed in the EU.

H&M comes to its garment suppliers’ rescue
Swedish retail giant H&M yesterday assured its garment suppliers of taking shipment of goods that have already been manufactured, much to the relief of some Bangladeshi exporters.
