VITAS to host seminar on sustainable textile industry
Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS) together with the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology (KITECH) will host a seminar on sustainable textile industry on July 13, 2017. The seminar on 'smart manufacturing system for sustainable textile industry' will be a boost for textile industries in Vietnam to become a part of industrial revolution 4.0.

RCEP membership to benefit Vietnam garment industry
The 16-nation Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) will bring several benefits to Vietnam’s garment and textile industry once the agreement comes into force.
A high ranking official of the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS) said that the garment industry in Vietnam has thrived without the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) as it holds the second biggest market share in the US and Japan.
