The signing ceremony of
Viet Thai Tech Co Ltd for Textile Factory project was held at VIET TIEN  Garment Corporation. On 03/01/2020, the Signing Ceremony of Viet Thai Tech for Textile Factory Project was held at Viet Tien Garment Corporation (VTEC) on 7 Le Minh Xuan, Tan Binh Dist. HCM. This is a joint venture between VTEC and two strategic partners which are LuenThai and Newtech for aiming to develop textiles and garments by green production technology to replace traditional dyeing and printing technologies that inspires designers to create new material and trend patterns for the needs of Vietnam fashion and textile industry as well as increasing competitiveness for businesses. Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Vu Duc Giang - Chairman of Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS) / Chairman of VTEC said: Viet Thai Tech is a pioneer in developing printing technology and creating products with differences which meet the fast changing requirements of the world fashion industry and the textile industry in Vietnam. Especially, Viet Thai Tech is committed to quality and time to meet the fast growing requirements of the fashion market. Mr. Giang proposed that Viet Thai Tech should  join to be VITAS member for opportunity to introduce their new development technology to Vietnamese textile and garment enterprises. The project investment cost is USD 20 million in the first phase of the project is 12 million USD and phase 2 is about 8 million USD. Viet Thai Tech factory is expected to inaugurate and come into operation by June 30, 2020. Hopefully, the project will be completed quickly and supply multi materials to  catch up with world trends and bring practical value to Vietnam's textile and apparel industry in time to time.

 

Nha Be Garment organized the launching ceremony of the movement emulation production earlier this year with the message "Innovation & Development". On 02/01/2020, Nha Be Garment Corporation (NBC) held the ceremony of emulation movement with the message "Innovation & Development" together with  Family Day event at No. 4, Ben Nghe Street, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. According to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Lan - General Director of NBC, This is an annual event to show gratitude to employees, honor individuals with outstanding achievements that contribute to the sustainable development of NBC as well as same time create a rewarding and healthy playing field imbued with the culture of the NBC extended family.

 

Garment 10 was launched in the beginning of the new year 2020. On 2/1/2020 nearly 12,000 officials and workers of Garment 10 Corporation in provinces and cities across the country have been launched at the beginning of the new year 2020. In 2019 with persistent efforts of nearly 12,000 employees inheriting the achievements that Garment 10 was achieved to continue solidarity, innovate management, find solutions for domestic and international markets... have taken Garment 10 reached 3,380 billion target, up over 11% compared to 2018. Especially, the profits that Garment 10 achieved more 4% over the previous year equivalent to VND 81 billion and the average income of employees is VND 8,150,000 / person / month. Business results of Garmnet 10 in 2019 is rated by Vinatex as the year with the best growthin the block of member units. Recognize the efforts and successes from all employees of Garment 10, Mr. Le Tien Truong - VITAS Vice President / General Director of Vietnam Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex) emphasized that Garment 10 is the unit with the best improvement in production and business efficiency of the Group in 2019 although not the highest but great growth in profit. Garment 10 has successfully transferred the generation of management from 6x to 7x generation in a smooth, consistent, united way and continue to promote the operational efficiency of the organization. Share on successful experiences in advanced profitability of Garment  10, Mr. Than Duc Viet - CEO of Garment 10 said  that they has developed many new customers and reached revenue of 194.4 billion in 2019 beside the traditional markets like Europe, America, Japan. At same time with aiming to increase domestic revenue in 2019, Garment 10 has organized many activities to promote its brand through large and special fairs for sales by e-commercial channels.

 

Acceptance of the State level for the subject of Industry 4.0 with Vietnam Textile and Garment Industry. On 10/01/2020 at the Headquarters of the Ministry of Science & Technology, The team implements the project "Research, assess the impact of 4th Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0) for VNTG sector to propose strategic and policy direction and development solutions in the period 2019 - 2030 by Mr. Le Tien Truong - Vice Chairman of VITAS / General Director of Vinatex is the Project Manager who also has experimented State level collection. This is a project by the Ministry of Science & Technology has been delivered to Vinatex since the end of 2018. The team has built a massive research project that is very practical for the Vietnam Textile and Garment industry and rated by the Acceptance Council at Elementarily level after the process of researching, evaluating, analyzing and surveying after the process of researching, evaluating, analyzing and surveying. On behalf of the project implementation team, Mr. Le Tien Truong presented preliminary content of the section’s topic includes the main ideas as following:

(1) The 4th Industrial Revolution Research Framework in the field of textiles; (2) Actual situation of VNTG enterprises in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution; (3) Orientations, solutions and policies to promote Application of Industry 4.0 in the stage of textile and apparel 2020 - 2030. Accordingly, Mr. Le Tien Truong said, The research team has conducted many surveys, assessments, attended the World Textile and Garment Fairs such as ITMA 2019 as well as meeting the leading textile enterprises in China and Vietnam with only about 12 months... to study the changes and impacts of Industry 4.0 for VNTG industry in the future from which to give directions to the community of enterprises in the industry for better understand about the Industrial Revolution 4.0 with a vision to 2030. As a result, 7/9 members in the Acceptance Council rated Excellent Topic , 2/9 votes as Pass and Agree to the team to implement the project at National level with the overall rating of Excellence. On behalf of the project implementation team, Mr. Le Tien Truong sent his words of Thanks the Science and Technology Ministry to creating favorable conditions for Vinatex to carry out an in-depth topic of Industry 4.0 on an relative industry as important as VNTG.

Mr. Le Tien Truong also expressed hope in the future Ministry of Science & Technology will continue to assign with Vinatex for more new research topics, as well as allowing the implementation team to publish books of research work so that the results of the Project can come closer to all businesses in the industry.

 

Grateful to the retired cadres in the South on the occasion of Spring Festival Canh Ty 2020. Following the tradition of "Drinking water by remembering the sources" and "Eating fruit by remembering the planting" from all generations of officials in VNTG industry, 9th January  2020 in HCMC, VINATEX held a meeting for retired cadres of Vinatex in the South on the occasion of Spring Festival of Canh Ty 2020. Attending the meeting were Mr. Bui Xuan Khu - Former Vice Minister of Industry and Trade Ministry/ Honorary Chairman of Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS), Mr. Le Quoc An - Former Chairman of Vinatex Board of Directors / VITAS Advisory Board, Mr. Vu Duc Giang - Chairman of VITAS, Former Chairman of VINATEX together with men and women who were former business leaders as well as other  officials and employees of the Group. The meeting also had the participation of retired cadres  in Executive agencies, heads / deputy heads in  functional boards of Vinatex and representatives of member companies. Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Le Tien Truong - Vice Chairman of VITAS / General Director of Vinatex expressed his insightful gratitude to the older generations of Vinatex that have contributed intellect and the strength for the development of VNTG industry throughout its history. Mr. Truong said Vietnam Textile and Garment industry although not achieving the export target still export turnover of 39 billion USD in 2019 and the Group's business performance is still higher than average of  2015 - 2017 nearly 20%, continue to hold stability in the whole system and organization effective investment and exploitation. In 2020, the economic picture is forecasted to continue with many unpredictable developments by the trade conflict of US - China but the Business Plan 2020 of the Group is

still expected to reach VND 46,258.3 billion with revenue (excluding VAT) of VND 50,922 billion and ensure employment, material and spiritual life for workers. In the 2020-2025 period, the Group focuses on the textile sector follow the modern automation model system which is more stable to bring higher efficiency. Mr. Truong also hopes to continue receiving the attention, encouragement and comments of senior officials to the industry and the Group in the near future. On behalf of retired title officers, Mr. Bui Xuan Khu - Former Standing Vice Minister of MOIT / Honorary Chairman VITAS delighted and highly appreciated the industry results and the Group in the last year. "Tet Reunion – Workers Fetival - Sentimental Fair” was held in HCMC. On the occasion of preparing to celebrate the Lunar New Year in 2020, from 16th to 18th December 2019 at Viet Thang Corporation, Vietnam Textile and Garment Union has coordinated with VINATEX in Ho Chi Minh City to organize the program "Tet Reunion – Worker’s Festival - Sentimental Fair" in order to better care for the material and spiritual life of workers, labor officials especially in preparation to welcome the Lunar New Year 2020. This event is enthusiastic response of businesses, trade unions and companionship from suppliers of many essential goods, prestigious brand name with good quality and clear origin sold at discounted prices and 30% off market prices. There were more than 40 stalls of enterprises in the VNTG industry such as Viet Tien, Viet Hung, Nha Be, Phong Phu,Phong Phu International, Thang Loi International, Lien Phuong, Dong Nai,Phuong Dong, Binh Minh, Viet Thang, Nguyen Khoi and Phuc An,Vina Gio...  This is the largest program ever of Vietnam Textile and Garment industry to care for employees in the industry. The program will be held at 06 locations in all three regions North Central South. In the South, after 3 days at Viet Thang Corporation, the Fair continues to be held at Phong Phu Corporation from December 19 to December 21, 2019. In Central Vietnam, the fair takes place at Hoa Tho Textile and Garment Corporation from 28 - 29/12/2019 and Hue Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company from 04 - 05/01/2020. In the North: Pho Noi B Industrial Park from 06 - 08/01/2020 and Nam Dinh Textile and Garment Urban Area from 10 - 12/01/2020.

 

"The festival of wrapping banh chung and thick cake to celebrate Tet of Canh Ty 2020" of Garment 10 Corporation. On the morning of January 12 in Hanoi, Garment 10 Corporation organized a festival and competition for the package of banh chung, banh day and the countryside fair on Tet holiday on the occasion of Tet Canh Ty 2020. Mr. Than Duc Viet - General Director of May 10 Corporation said that this activity is to create a vibrant emulation atmosphere, promote the spirit of thrift in production, and create a solidarity in the relationship between labors in the company. Ms. Tran Quy Dan, Chairman of Trade Union of Garment 10 Corporation also said that wrapping banh chung and pounding rice cakes to enrich the cultural and spiritual life for May 10 employees as well as preserve and promote the cultural identity of the Vietnamese people. This year is the 6th year, May 10 maintains the organization and prepare banh chung for workers. The festival has many activities such as study and package examination Banh chung, Banh day, finish product market, countryside market, playing folk games and cultural exchanges.
