The purpose of the trade connection is to create conditions for Vietnamese textile garment enterprises and brands to connect directly with Taiwanese spinning and textile enterprises to research and learn about fabrics and accessories, especially materials with new features in the direction of being friendly to the environment and human health.

Representatives of Vietnamese enterprises studied the products of 6 Taiwanese textile companies participating in the B2B trade match. These are businesses: BSP Co., Ltd. (TAIWAN) - introduced knitting and woven fabric such as: suiting, lining, workwear fabrics with innovative and multifunction features such as anti-bacterial, UV protection, water-proof, moisture management…; CREATIVE TECH TEXTILE Co., Ltd. - displayed Seawool: yarn & fabric; Smawarm insulation: padding, down like, ball; Functional woven fabric; Functional knitted fabric; CHUN YU RIBBON ENT Co., Ltd. - introduced on elastic and non-elastic knit tape, elastic & non-elastic woven tape, draw-cord and waist band, jacquard elastic & non-elastic tape for garment, cap & bags; HONMYUE ENTERPRISE Co., Ltd. - introduced functional and high value-added products, including sustainable outdoor equipment, apparel, home & contract, and industrial fabrics; SUPER TEXTILE CORPORATION - displayed industry textile, apparel textiles with function, eco textiles, end products, equestrian products & clothing and WU FANG FIBER Co., Ltd. - introduced suiting fabric, tweed fabric, other woven fabric; End-use: fabric for apparel, furniture, luggage, shoe.

Researching new fabric products of Taiwanese enterprises displayed at the trade match, the delegates directly felt and experienced the new and superior features of many fabrics and accessories. Representatives of businesses participating in the B2B Trade Connection session also shared their experiences in using Taiwan's fabrics and accessories for garment production in their units, discussed challenges and opportunities of enterprises to maintain production and business, overcome difficulties in the context that the Covid 19 pandemic is still complicated on a global scale.

It is known that most of the Taiwanese companies displaying their products at the Trade match have spinning and weaving factories in China or Vietnam, which is convenient for Vietnamese textile and garment enterprises to benefit from the RCEP Agreement.
Appreciating the thoughtful preparation of VITAS and TTF in organizing the B2B Trade mission, the delegates also wished the 2 Associations would continue to organize more events to support businesses to strengthen supply chain connection, improve production and business efficiency and expand markets, contributing to the sustainable development of the textile & garment industry in Taiwan and Vietnam.
