Indian textile exports to reach goals sooner than 3 years

In the previous three fiscal years, India has surpassed the textile export target. Specifically, fiscal year 2011-2012, the Indian textile exports totaled US $ 32.74 billion compared to 28.13 billion target.


In fiscal year 2012-2013, textile exports hit a 34.93 billion compared with $ 31 billion and the target in fiscal 2013-2014, reached 39.45 billion compared with $ 34 billion target.

To improve the working conditions of workers weaving sector to sustainable development and regional Textiles, Textile Ministry has initiated several programs tro.Duoi national development program for weaving there are two components: program development and weaving comprehensive package Revival, Reform and Restructuring weaving sector.
Under the comprehensive welfare programs for workers weaving, has two components: social insurance program for access to health care facilities and Bima Yojana for Mahatma Gandhi Bunkar life insurance.
Ministry of Textiles also provides program management and program development strand woven comprehensive cluster.
For workers / weavers weaving mechanical sector, the Indian government has introduced various programs to improve working conditions.
The training and skills are being held under the skills development program integration (ISDS) in many parts of the country by the Service Center for textile workers (WSC).
These things help weavers craft product diversification with the innovation and quality improvement in order to meet the challenging trends of the market and get the price tot.Cac training and skills development including training in the preparation process, winding, sizing, graphic design and craft, design CATD, printing, dyeing, textile and perforated cover flower jacquard.
For mechanical textile workers, training is done through 14 service centers mechanical looms of the Office of the Textile Committee, under the Skills Development program area hop.Duoi this program, perform training related to basic woven, non-woven, woven, machine repair, designer fabric, fabric production, distribution with high speed, workers sewing, embroidery machine operators to improve their technique.
