Cảnh báo về việc Sự kiện Diễn đàn Dệt May ASEAN vào tháng 21-22/11/2019 tại Hà Nội do bên Viện UMS tổ chức có tính chất lừa đảo.

23/07/2019 02:46 CH

400+ Attendees       30+ Eminent Speakers       25+ Project Updates      15+ International Case Studies

Dear Mr. Roger Lee,

How are you?

It is my greatest pleasure, on behalf of the Organizing Committee to welcome you to attend the International Textile & Apparel Forum Asean 2019(ITAF ASEAN 2019) which will be held on November 21-22, in Hanoi, Vietnam. The event will be gathering more than 400+ global textile & apparel Industry leaders and experts respectively from the Government & Associations, Apparel, Home Textile, Textile Manufacturer, Chemicals Fibers Manufacturer, Textile Machinery Manufacturer, Textile Machinery Components, Textile Chemicals, Logistics, Distributor, Law Firm, Consulting and Certifier etc.

Textile and apparel industry is not only one of the largest foreign exchange growth points in ASEAN countries, but also the industry with the largest number of employees in many ASEAN countries. Therefore, this industry has long been highly valued by relevant countries in the region.

By the beginning of 2016, Vietnam and Indonesia, Thailand have become the major exporters of textile and apparel products in the world. Malaysia and the Philippines have a good foundation in textile and apparel industry, and have a certain competitiveness in the international market. Cambodia, Laos and Brunei have become new export bases for ready-made garments. ASEAN has gradually become the preferred choice for the transfer of textile and garment industries. Many international textile and apparel companies began to invest in the region, especially in Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar and other countries.

In terms of policy, the governments of ASEAN countries have introduced a series of preferential tax policies to attract foreign capital. In addition, some ASEAN countries also benefit from the preferential treatment given by developed countries such as Europe and the United States. For example, only 2-3% import tariffs are levied on textiles exported to the European Union. Trade agreements signed with all parties also play an important role, such as the Vietnam-Europe Free Trade Agreement (VEFTA), China-ASEAN Free Trade Area (CAFTA).

Thanks to the improvement of production equipment and the influx of foreign investors, the textile industry has become the largest economic sector in Vietnam, with annual turnover equal to 15% of Vietnam's GDP. Vietnam has abundant electricity, abundant water resources, political stability, relatively high personnel quality, and the efficiency of clothing workers is about 70-80% of China's. In terms of export, Vietnam has favorable conditions such as Vietnam-EU Free Trade Agreement, Vietnam-Asia-Europe Economic Union Free Trade Agreement, emerging cotton textile market and so on.

The ITAF ASEAN 2019, schedule from November 21-22, is a 2-day gathering of international experts from all over the world to share project case studies, discuss opportunities and deliver solutions for the major challenges faced by the industry. It should be the ideal platform for textile & apparel industry stake holders/individuals to know the latest updates and explore partnership opportunities for staying ahead of the game.
